Residenz Seeterrasse in Ohningen

So I can't understand the negative review by JoPe Schwarze at all. I think this is a fantastic hotel, the lido was huge and you could easily walk around barefoot! Best service ever, I got every drink right in front of my nose! Towels were more than enough at 3pm! 8 out of 15 chairs were free it was such a great rest! The guests are so well taken care of here 😍 The restaurant was top notch nothing to complain about even the side dishes were free🤩 I felt like I would never go home again in a dreamlike, paradisiacal film! Always my pleasure!!!!! ❤️

Hotel is right on the lake, with a beautiful lawn, hotel room with a view of the lake, bathroom is very small, otherwise okay. The Corona hygiene concept was well implemented, dinner was very good, service very attentive, For breakfast we would give a deduction, as there was little fruit and sausage or cheese (rather cheap) were rather carelessly directed. But one day before the partial lockdown it was okay.

Food absolutely TOP. Hotel is right on the lake. The rooms themselves are mediocre - since we only stayed in the room to sleep anyway, it was absolutely sufficient.

The superior suite with 2 bedrooms was great, very clean and with a great view :-) Very quiet location and free parking at the hotel. The breakfast was unfortunately a bit poor, but all in all ok.

Food in the restaurant on the lake terrace was very nice and the service was friendly, if a bit uncoordinated and therefore long waiting times. For the portion of fish received, however, the price was at the upper limit. The location of the restaurant makes up for a lot 😃

It was terrible - we leave early despite the suite with a lake view - small lido, no umbrellas set up despite the weather forecast with 30 ° C in the shade, stony into the water only possible with sturdy shoes, no service in the lido below regarding drinks, had to go through the whole hotel 🏨 run to get something to drink - towels at 3 p.m. 🕒 as good as gone even though only 8 out of 15 loungers were occupied - nobody cares - they feel too good here ??? The reception is not always occupied ??? In addition, if you eat in the restaurant, you pay almost € 1000 for 3 nights, then an additional € 2.50 is charged / taken for changing a side dish ??? I'm in the wrong film 🎥- off to home 🏡 it's just a lot nicer and we eat local food in our restaurants. Never again here

Just don't disaster ... bad food and insolent staff. Totally overpriced prices. Vomit pizza. Save yourself this disappointment ...

Despite the reservation with name and telephone number, there was no place available and the person in charge took over five minutes until we were assigned a place. The food was very fine and the conditions very friendly.

Wonderful hotel with a great location right on the lake and its own access to swimming. The staff is very accommodating, the rooms are inviting and the breakfast is really good! We always like to come here!

A hotel in a beautiful and quiet location on the. Our room 21 was brand new renovated and very large. There are enough storage spaces. Coffee machine in the room, great. The view is of the lake and the opposite Swiss bank. Free parking spaces are available in front of the hotel. Breakfast offers everything you like.

Very very nice. The ambience is great, enough parking space. Elegant in style with a high-quality kitchen, but reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly, the selection, especially when it comes to fish, is very good. A real tip, something is hidden in this small village. Gladly again!

Lovely rooms with spacious lounge overlooking the little sea full of great character, especially on cold windy days. Bedding was crisp and fresh with a fragrant, smell of roses..unfortunately the cushions were too soft. The staff were very friendly helpful and polite. The waiter tried to understand us even though she struggled. :)...it was so sweet to see how hard she tried to understand. Thank you to this waiter... thanks for the honey :) Kindness breaks barriers!

Pure Bodensee atmosphere and delicious cuisine

Everything was perfect, the view of the flat, clean rooms, well designed and great breakfast

The rooms are nice and the place is well maintained but only for people with white skin! <br/>The staff was extremely unfriendly and rude through out. We heard it before that the people are racist, but we made our own terrible experience, it’s true. Even though, most of the employs are from the Ukraine or Poland, they behaved as poor as possible. This place is not recommended for people with darker skin complexion or different then German! There are other places with more liberal international flair. All the other revious where good, so we thought to try it out, it seems a lot has changed!

An extraordinary romantic hotel. Hotel has own beach. From here you can get in all directions by ship. For breakfast there is a rich offer. Served in the conservatory. For all honey lovers there is honey directly from the honeycomb. Delicious ... we'll be back

Very nice little hotel on a human scale, by the lake. All the staff are friendly and attentive. Delicious dinner worthy of a starred chef and hearty breakfast.

The most gorgeous location right on the shore of the Bodensee. We were staying in a renovated junior suite and it was really comfortable with lovely views over the lake which you can also enjoy from the balcony. Dinner was very good and the chef even agreed to prepare a sauce for my friend which was not even on the menu. The only negative is that there is no elevator so if you are having to drag your suitcase up 2 floors, with dodgy knees, it ain't fun.

Gladly again, nice staff, nice ambience, great view of the lake. Breakfast with everything your heart desires. However, a bit noisy.

They sit just on the cost of Bodensee lake and the rooms and the restaurant have a fantastic view. The staff is friendly and they have a good service. Some minors in the room are the very small toilets, not working coffee machine. The rooms were clean but some towels had stains. Check out is 10:30 !!! Lovely place with great view for lake.

Good food and nice location

We had a very good off-season deal. The suite was wonderful and well renovated even if the hotel itself feels a bit old. The breakfast was excellent, varied and with wonderful view, five star for that.

Stopped here for one night on our way to Switzerland in December. We had a 2 bedroom suite with a view of the lake and were able to enjoy the view of Switzerland on the other side with a blanket of light snow. Check-in was on a "rest day" so they provided easy to follow instructions for the keys in the lockbox. Very spacious for a European hotel. The beds were very comfortable - like sleeping on a cloud. Plenty of options for a European breakfast. Check out was smooth (and staffed)
